Wednesday Weigh In

My weigh in was messed up this morning.  I had forgotten that it was Wednesday, so I drank a lot of coffee and ate breakfast before I remembered that I had to weigh in.  In addition to that, I have a UTI and antibiotics always make me retain water. 

Needless to say, that my weight gain didn't surprise me.  Today, it said that I gained one and a half pounds since last week.  However, I weighed myself yesterday morning and it said that I lost a pound since last week. 

So, my actual weight is up in the air.  Hopefully, next week I will remember and get an actual weight. 

I'm just going to write that I had the same weight as last week.  It seems to be the average between yesterday's weight and today's.

Weight lost: 7.5
Weight to lose: 92.5

Turbo Fire Day 1

My friend is losing weight like crazy.  I'm so jealous, so I asked her to write down what she is doing.  She gave me a hug list.  It was mostly different types of crunchs, but at the top of that list was Turbo Fire - a collection of dvds.  I don't usually like dvd workouts since they get repetitive, but I'm going to give it a try.  My friend borrowed me one of her sets (She has two sets of Turbo Fire?!?  Weird, I know). 

So, today I did my first workout and I liked it.  It was intense, but I didn't feel exhausted afterwards.  I think I can do this for a while. 

My friend said that she lost 14 pound in the first two weeks.  I would love to have those kinds of results. 

We will see.

Wednesday Weigh In


Today I weighed in and I was half a pound less than last week!  It’s a small victory, but it makes me feel a little better.  Unfortunately, I have been working out (that Killer Kardio lives up to its name) so much that I can barely move, but it was that half pound.  I wish it was more, but I’ll take it. 

Hopefully, this will be a good start to lose more weight.  I guess we will know next week.

Killer Kardio

I stumbled upon this exercise routine on Pinterest.  I tried it and OMG! it killed my butt.  It's a good workout.  I was exhausted afterwards.  I like that it is fast paced and gets your heart pumping. 

I don't think that I will do it every day, but I will do it often.

Vegetable Twister

I have often wondered about using vegetables as pasta. It would be a good way to add vegetables into your diet. Spaghetti squash can be used in place of spaghetti noodles, but I often wondered about using other vegetables.

I found this pin which is a kitchen gadget that grinds vegetables into noodle shapes. I tried to find out where to order this, but it took me to a site that wasn't in English. Does anyone know where to buy this? Or is it just a prototype? I seriously want to buy this.

Wednesday Weigh In

Today is another weigh in.  I gained another pound.  I don' t know what I'm doing wrong.  I have started doing Weight Watchers and I gained one pound.  Ugh. 

I always have such bad luck with Weight Watchers, but my doctor recommended that I try it.  I'm giving it another week before I quit.  I'm counting my points closely and trying to make healthy choices, but it's just too much food.  Everything I have read is that you should try and eat your points, but I'm going to have to cut my points by about 5 because that's all I can eat.

I've been working out like usual, so I'm sure that it is my diet.

Wednesday Weigh In


It's Wednesday which means that I weighed myself today. I gained one pound.  Ugh.  I don't even know what to do at this point. 

I thought for sure that I would at least be at the same weight as last week.  I don't know what I am doing wrong. 

I think that I need a coach to tell me what to do.  You know, the kind of person who will yell at me and count my calories.  Maybe someone else will notice what I'm doing wrong.  I eat healthy and exercise regularly.  I'm at a total loss.

Workout buddy

I'm pretty excited because my best friend has agreed to join the gym with me.  I need a workout buddy.  It gets lonely when I see friends walking into the gym and I am alone.  So sad :(

But now, I can have someone to workout with!  Hopefully, she will help me stay motivated to workout.  I'm pretty competitive, so I think that it will be good for me to try and "beat" her.

Wednesday Weigh In


For the New Year, I swear that I will lose weight.  I weighed myself today.  I am still at 9 pounds lost.  I think that is pretty good since the last time I weighed myself was before Christmas.

That means I didn’t gain anything over the holidays.  It’s good since I was certain that I gained a few pounds.

It’s still not as good as if I lost weight, but I’m going to start today.  From now on, I will never weigh this much again. 

I’m sick of it.
